When upscaling files in ArcSoft TotalMedia™ Theatre, SimHD™ utilizes NVIDIA® CUDA™, its GPU computing technology, which not only offers large performance benefits but also save CPU power for other usages*. Note that SimHD™ now only supports CUDA compatible graphics cards. Others will soon be supported.

SimHD™ is compatible with and requires previous installation of TotalMedia Theatre (2.1.6.129 and above) and TotalMedia Theatre 3. To find out your TotalMedia Theatre version information, launch the application, right-click on the screen and select "About".

1. File type: .mpg or .mpeg
2. File format: MPEG 2
3. Max. original file resolution: 720 x 576
4. Width and Height needs to be a multiple of 16
